Flo Davis, Owner and Operator of Loc Innovations, has been serving the natural hair community since 2011. Known for a thoughtful, forward-focused approach to loc care, Loc Innovations was established to support healthy locs, natural hair, and individualized hair journeys.

As Columbia, South Carolina’s first certified loc consultant for an international brand, Flo Davis brings years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of textured hair. Services are thoughtfully designed to meet each client’s unique needs, with an emphasis on long-term hair health and stability.

Loc Innovations specializes in tool-based loc techniques, creating well-formed, secure locs through precise methods tailored to the individual.

Loc Innovations helped establish The Loc Network in May 2018 to create a streamlined, client-focused approach to loc care through collaborative scheduling and shared professional standards. Initially started with four businesses, the network has grown to include over 10 current on-site professionals, along with numerous others, trained and mentored within the same framework.

In 2023, Loc Innovations expanded its offerings with licensure as a Master Hair Specialist and Barbershop, now providing a broader range of services, including shampoo services, grooming, brow maintenance, facials, clipper and shear cuts, and professional coloring.

​

In 2025, Loc Innovations undertook extensive training in micro-sized interlocking extensions. By early 2026, the brand emerged as a founding partner of Da F.I.X.X.E.R.S., an elite collective dedicated to advanced loc repair and interlocking extension craftsmanship.
